10 Last minute Diwali Preparations :)

Hello everyone :)

Can you all feel the festivities ? :)
Yes... Diwali is here ans i am super happy about it.
I wasn't able to do much this time but I am sharing few last minute ideas which can make your Diwali more sparkling and bright  :)

1. First of all, earthen diyas are the best way to brighten up your home.
They are very cheap and easily available. I love their natural color but now a days you can even find them painted in colors and in various patterns.

They look beautiful. Isn't it :)

2. Second easy way is to decorate your home with natural flowers. Not only in your Mandir (temple) but you can even hang them near doors, windows (indoor/outdoor) etc.
Natural flowers have their own beauty and this also fills your house with sweet fragrances that you don't need to use any artificial room fresheners :)

3.Ahh! This is the best part of Diwali. RANGOLI :)
I remember waking late night and making rangoli when I was in my grades :)
Now i just use dry colors.
I made this one last year.

4.Next thing that you can do is 'Recycle'!

I turned out old cds into decorative.
This is super easy and takes about 10-15 mins to complete it.
This is really cool idea for a last minute preparation :)

5.I had also used old and waste jute ropes (thin) and made lamps out of them.
Look beautiful :)

6.Occasions in India are really incomplete without sweets. If you don't want to buy any this time you can make them at your home.
Why not going for making Halwa OR Kheer for serving them to your guests?
You can even make come quick Mithais (sweets) with ready made products available on departmental stores easily :)

7. We all love giving gifts this season. Why not trying a creative hand this time and make your gift a special one.
You can use baskets, hard boards etc and decorate them for displaying the gifts.
This is what I did :)

8. Make your own pooja thali :)
This is what I did last year.

9. Buy your self a beautiful traditional Dream catcher from us :)
Its never to late to decorate your home!

10. If you still haven't bought an outfit for the day! Go and buy yourself one traditional outfit this time.
:)

I hope my Ides some how helps you all.

A very Happy Diwali to everyone!
Have a safe one.
:)
